WHAT STEPS DO WE TAKE IN ARRANGING OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
Once we have arranged a time that is convenient for you, we will sit down, get to know each other and discuss the details of your wedding. You can then decide either to choose our basic disc only option or, if you wish, to choose from our large range of handmade wedding albums. If you cannot decide on a choice of wedding album, then you can simply make a decision closer to the wedding day. The date of your wedding is secured once a deposit of £500 and a completed booking form have been received. The balance payment is due approximately four weeks before the wedding day.

HOW MANY TIMES DO WE MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?
I always meet with couples at least once, but suggest it's also a good idea to meet a few weeks prior to the wedding day. If this is not possible then we would discuss things on the phone, just in case anything has changed since our initial meeting.

CAN WE HAVE ALL OUR IMAGES SUPPLIED ON DISC FOR OUR OWN USE?
Included in our fee is a selection of your favourite 120 photos as enhanced, hand produced, Hi-Res JPEG images for your own use. We also supply your entire collection of online photos (300-400) resized as lo-res images, allowing you to conveniently share your wedding photos with friends, using email and online applications such as, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter etc

HOW DO YOU PRODUCE AN ALBUM?
Your choice of 60 prints/images are included in the album price, but you can have as many additional images in your album as you like. Each additional image is £14, regardless of size. This fee is also payable even if the additional image is not used as a print, as the fee is in payment for the post production of the image. Remember though, I also add my own favourites which is usually about 30 prints. Once I have designed the album I will then email the design to you so you can make any changes before it is produced (not photobooks.) Included in the design is up to 5 changes, beyond which we may make an hourly charge. But to be honest, most couples are normally happy with the first design draft.

HOW LONG WILL IT BE BEFORE WE RECEIVE THE FINAL WEDDING ALBUM?
Production normally takes between 4-6 weeks for our Seldex albums and 3-4 weeks for our Digital magazine albums once we have the album design 'signed off.

HOW SOON DO WE SEE OUR PHOTOGRAPHS?
I normally say that all the preview images will be ready to view within 72 hours. They will be uploaded to your own private webpage and can only be accessed via a password, which will be handed out on a card to all your guests at the reception.

WHEN DO WE RECEIVE OUR PREVIEWS?
Your disc and slideshow will be ready within about 7-10 days. I normally try and send them in the post so they arrive the day after you return from your honeymoon.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL?
If I am unable to photograph your wedding due to illness, then you will be comforted to know that I have a reciprocal arrangement with several other photographers, each one has a very similar style to my own. Either one of my colleagues would step in to photograph your wedding.

ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes. We carry a specific photographic insurance policy with Morgan Richardson Ltd. which provides us with professional indemnity and public liability up to £2,000,000

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT A YEAR?
Because we specialise in weddings, producing the finest albums can only be attained by a high level of commitment and so we photograph no more than thirty weddings a year. We do not double book, neither do we employ other photographers to shoot weddings for us.

YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY AS REPORTAGE, DO YOU SHOOT ANY GROUPS?
Although my way of shooting is very much reportage, or photojournalistic in style, I still shoot a few formal family groups which need to be captured.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS DO YOU TAKE ON THE BIG DAY?
I would normally take in excess of about eight hundred, but sometimes it can be over a thousand. Once taken, they are then edited down to about 300-350. However, depending on the wedding, it can sometimes be in excess of 400!

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
If it rains on your big day, then c'est la vie! It will be a great day no matter what. The only thing that's important is that there are places inside to shoot group shots if necessary. When it rains, or the weather is extremely inclement, that's when it pays to have a photographer who knows what they're doing.

YOU SAY ALL YOUR PRICES ARE INCLUSIVE, ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?
All the options available are completely inclusive, with no added Vat, no expenses and no mileage, unless outside an hour's travel from our studio. If you decide not to collect your wedding album then we do charge a fee of £26 for UKpostage and insurance, via special delivery.

HOW LONG DO OUR PHOTOGRAPHS REMAIN ON THE INTERNET?
All the preview images of your wedding will remain on the internet for a minimum of three months, after which we reserve the right to remove them at our discretion.
