Hello, thank you for visiting our website. Photography is something that I have been passionate about since I was about twelve years old. After leaving college, my first full time job was working for Lancashire Constabulary, in the scenes of crime department, not something I would recommend for a seventeen year old! In 1975 I began work as a young assistant photographing portraits and weddings with a studio in Reading. After five years I then joined the television industry, embarking on a career as a location cameraman with ITV West in Bristol. My work has been extremely varied, and I've been fortunate enough to have been involved with many types of programming, including drama and documentaries, through to sports programmes, news and commercials. I've enjoyed my time in television and have been fortunate enough to have worked on some great programmes. However, after experiencing the mid life crisis I decided I needed a change!
In 1998, after spending eighteen years in television, I left to pursue a freelance career and began producing corporate videos for companies such as Somerfield and Barclaycard. Unfortunately, this did little for my creative aspirations and so, in 2002 I decided to return to my first love of wedding photography. It's been an exciting period and with the advances in digital imaging it's added potential to my work beyond my wildest dreams. Having started Howard Keith Photography I was determined to offer only the best possible service and products to couples, and I hope that this website is a successful showcase for what I believe to be my own 'look' and style.
